Welcome to Real. Raw With, Dr be this nationally published author and pastor has made it, his life’s work to helping people strengthened their relationship with God themselves and each other with 25 years as a licensed counselor, coupled with his own life experiences with the ups and downs of married and single life. It’s like having a counseling session right in your own home. So without any further ado, it’s time for Real Raw With Dr
1 (33s):
I will talk about change the Pond we were talking about not only are you a fisherman, like the fish don’t fish too. Well, I ain’t got the patience for the defendant to jump into the boat that Presley, Simon and catfish anyway. So why is this significant? Because some of you are on your dating life and you are consistently getting the same type of person and you need to get an anti. Yup. You know, like in like a superhero, I love Marvel comments and stuff like that. There’s always the ant guy. There’s always someone who is not the person.
1 (1m 14s):
So in other words is opposite of the super hero. Well, is it possible, sir? There’s a possible man. That the reason why you were frustrated and upset with regards, you keep dating the same type of people. Now, even in all the CLIA, if you keep dating the same type of person, why are you surprised that you get the same results all the time? Again, I’ll do a slow motion. If you are dating the same type of person and getting the same ideal vacation, that’s a good sign that you’re dating the wrong person now. And my own, my own personal life. You know, my wife’s got a Porsche.
1 (1m 55s):
Love your daddy. Love you. I’m doing a good, doing a good, she is totally not like my first wife. Yeah. And you know what makes it so funny is that when I was, you know, the divorce was over, I was thinking about finding the one I have a fall. We can also go ahead and ask the question. Why are you going to find the same thing that the vote in a way, like, it’s the one that I’m laughing that you and I left. And I was a laugh and I may go, I’ll almost say fel in that same quick saying, nah, hear many people.
1 (2m 35s):
It is a quicksand. Y because your brain, your brain is conditioned to a certain type of energy that let’s let’s, let’s, let’s go back to when you were a child. So if you saw a lot of drama as a child, yeah. A lot of your daddy, not daddy, your momma, not dad. I grew up in a crack house. Grew up in a, you know, bad homes. Why are you so surprised all the time again? So you grew up in a bad environment. You grew up in, you grew up in collateral damage environment.
1 (3m 18s):
Wasn’t good at all. Oh, okay. So that’s watches. Now that’s been ingrained in your system. That’s been ingrained in your foundation. So when you become an adult, you have not had no counseling. You haven’t got a dealt with your brain, says, Oh, that’s what I grew up with. So it must be what I should find. Okay. So this is really, if you think about it, my friend is really what you are used to seeing. Yeah. If you are used to seeing a certain act or a certain thing, then why you are, why are you surprised that that’s what you will go to?
1 (4m 5s):
That’s what you will cater too, on a regular basis. So I’m really trying to help somebody to say, it’s not so much the people you find is that what you are geared towards. So that’s why I’m saying change the Pond. I changed my Pond. I’m glad. I’m glad I got your son. I’m glad that the women aren’t God right. But again, I grew up in chaos. I grew up in a point, a lot of things going down. So I had to change what I was used to seeing. That’s what I’m saying to you. That that’s what I’m trying to get you to say is that you have to change your thinking.
1 (4m 46s):
You have to change what you used to see. Why? Because if we don’t tell you at the scene that you will get it again. Yeah. I mean, think about it. You have a trail of a pain. You have a trail of sorrow. You have a train, a trail of, of not being happy. So there’s a good possibility. My friend that is because you are consistently generating that the same type of thing. So, and then you turn around and want to shut it down. Now it’s hard to shut down because you brought it there.
1 (5m 30s):
I mean, unless the digging with a pistol, I got a knife to you mean unless that’s happening. And I’m with that, that haven’t already, that’s not the person for you. So no one’s putting in a pinch to your head. My friend, the one who’s putting a pistol or a knife to your back in my system. Okay? No, one’s doing that. You are doing that on your own because you haven’t changed. Your Pond hear me. You have change the Pond stay with me. Come on, stay with me. Come on. Cause somebody on with people right now, some of your With people right now is a mud fish. Know what? Fishes? They’re not good for nothing. Nothing but both of them, their mud fish.
1 (6m 14s):
No, no, no. You don’t love him. You don’t love her. You just used to mud fish. You grew up in the mud fish did in the mud fish. I will go, you know, in the mud fish, they got bones everywhere. No matter what you eat, what sound? The sound they need. They ain’t no good, good. They got bone in them. What fish? The change, your diet now. And then before you change the Pond you got change the water, which is you. Okay. That’s how you change your data. And those of y’all who just get thought out. Well, maybe you can’t find nobody because we haven’t found yet.
1 (7m 0s):
Yeah. Okay. And you find somebody, if you first ain’t found you, I know you’re right here, but you don’t know who you are. All right. And this, I know that is definitely being always depressed. Right? You’re never happy on a consistent basis. I mean, something’s always going on. You always bring in drama. You can be happy. <inaudible> you’re happy, no drama, you know, because that’s what your mind is. So that that’s what your mind has been conditioned to do. So you change, you change that paradigm.
1 (7m 44s):
Okay? Change that paradigm. And then you’re changed your job. How you do that change. You gotta change you first because hear me, if you do not change you than you will keep getting the same things. Again, what’s the definition of stupidity, right? You’re doing the same thing and expecting different results, really ain’t going to happen. So hopefully this helps you a little bit to understand that that’s how you gotta do things going forward is that you have to change what you’re looking for. You can not be happy and having the same results over and over and over and over again. You can’t do that.
1 (8m 24s):
You have to change it. You have to change it again. Now, now here, man, I be done, you know, and one quick hemming, okay. One, one quick turn can change your direction. Right? One quick turn can change your projection. So again, by you having reconciliation, having a good therapist to help you reconcile, what’s going on in your heart. I guarantee you, this will change your, now this is a stretch of a church folk y’all know that you’re not getting back.
1 (9m 10s):
That we don’t see the husband after the two week though, the devil, you know, how could you ever change your Pond? Listen, I got news for a while. Yeah. He was a devil for a long, she was a devil all along. But the reason why he was so fooled by what you were saying, you just thought that this to be the person for you in that when it’s not to be the person in a way. So you go to Changing and then you change the thinking. I guarantee you, you will get better and stronger results.
1 (9m 53s):
